
Tim Jones gets the long haul award this week, making it from his hometown of Jonesville, Va. to Tri-County Speedway for our vintage race on Oct, 11th. Here is the Nova that the Jones Racing Team brought. Dad, Tim drove while son, William had to work.

Tri-County Speedway invited our vintage cars on Oct, 11th back to add to their Smart Modifides 99 lap race night. With all the rubber laid down by the 30 some wide-tired modifides, our practices & race made our vintage cars stick like glue to the asphalt. Here is a new '56 Ford that got some practice in but was DNS.

Our 1st 2025 trip to Newport Speedway on May17th saw Keith Norville "the Auctioneer" out-duel Jesse Martin on the last lap, after Norville's Chevy II spun earlier. Norville had a flat tire, he got it changed under caution, & restarted at the rear. Drivers and fans said that this was the most exciting race of the nite.

Our vintage cars moved in to Hickory Motor Speedway on May 10th after rain got the May 3rd event. The "Spartanburg Goldminer"Jesse Martin took the #3 Camaro back to victory lane with his new son Elvis at his first race. Midway, Jesse fell back from the lead with a hot motor, but laps later it cooled, and he went back.

Some of our vintage cars made the close trip to Hickory Motor Speedway on April 12th after missing Hickory the whole year of '24 because of rescheduling and hurricanes. With a few interlopers present, at the end of the 25 lap feature, the "Spartanburg Goldminer"Jesse Martin took the overall win in his baby blue Camaro.
